Build · VisualLogic Code (VLC)

Build applications with VL, a language designed for AI.

Build is the VisualLogic workbench for developing applications: projects, code and visual editing, Lint, Compile, local Preview, data and AutoTest in one workspace on your machine. Underneath is VL, VisualLogic's own programming language, designed to be written by AI as readily as by people and built for parallel, distributed execution.

Fixed section order · typed contracts · explicit failureLint → Compile → Preview

Why a language for AI.

Most generated code is plausible text. VL is a contract: a model that follows it produces something the compiler, the previewer and the tester can verify.

STRUCTURE

Sections in a fixed order

Every VL file has required sections that appear once, in order. Props, events, methods and state are declared with types. A generator cannot drift into prose, and a reviewer can check the result line by line.

CONTRACTS

Services declare what they return

A service call names its parameters and its return shape. GUARD lines make failure explicit, so a model cannot paper over a missing result.

PARALLEL · DISTRIBUTED

Designed to run spread out

VL is built for parallel, distributed execution: independent work can run at the same time, and a Brain on one device can drive a workspace on another through Matrix.

VISUAL + CODE

Two views of one source

Code, visual tree, properties, events and database views select the same objects. A preview screenshot is never mistaken for source.

From project to running application.

The first success is a real, interactive local application with data read back, not a paragraph of chat.

STEP 01

Project

New, open or switch. A complete sample runs without any cloud account or AI connection.

STEP 02

Edit or generate

Write VL by hand, or generate it with a verified AI connection and a clear requirement.

STEP 03

Lint · Compile

Real diagnostics against the current protocol, with timings shown.

STEP 04

Preview · Data

A one-click local preview, auto-compiled, with the database read back.

STEP 05

AutoTest · Deliver

Reviewable test plans run in a real browser. Export, or deploy only when you explicitly say so.

Wired to Matrix

Your Brain, your Hand, your workbench.

Build reuses Matrix resources rather than asking for a second set of credentials. The Matrix window handles the account; VLC follows it.

BR

Connect a Matrix Brain

Open the Workspace, choose Connect Matrix Brain / Hand in Settings, check the IDs and connect. The model is assigned by Matrix; VLC never fakes a model switch.

HA

Your machine is the Hand

Files are written on your workspace by your own device. Remote reads and writes are verified separately from the connection check.

FL

Flows live here too

Edit, configure, import and run flows in the same workbench. Flows, Docs, Skills and Tools sit in the Library bar, one click away.

Projects are never uploaded by default. Cloud preview and publishing are explicit, confirmed actions with a real URL and receipt.

Get it

Everything in one edition.

The VisualLogic edition includes VLC, Matrix and the VL Base runtime for macOS, Windows and Linux. Checksums and signing status are shown for each installer.
